About The Survey...

The Orange County Executive Survey (OCES) is a unique research project undertaken collaboratively by faculty members of the University of California, Irvine and members of the business and governmental community. Begun in 1986 and longitudinal in design, the survey provides executives and planners with systematic, objective information concerning the future of business in the Orange County region. In addition, OCES provides a rich database for the use of researchers and educators.
The University of California, Irvine's initial sponsorship is complemented by the general support of a number of organizations. Members of business and governemnt contribute both financial support and guidance on the survey's direction. The arrangements is highly effective; business and government leaders have access to reliable information on the county's business climate, and academic researchers benefit from the perspective of policy makers and practictioners.
