Research interests:

politics of computing; end user computing and training; workforce issues

Ph.D., Stanford University

Professor Danziger's interests are in social impacts of technology, information use in the political process, and public resource allocation. He is also interested in end user computing and how to enhance the quality of computing services and computer equipment available to end users to increase their productivity work satisfaction. His primary research focus has been in the area of technology and politics, especially on the uses, impacts, and regulation of information technology.

Dr. Danziger's research has won prizes from the American Political Science Association and the American Society for Public Administration. He has published four books, including two co-authored with others in the CRITO group on the impacts of information and computer technology, and in such journals as Public Administration Review, MIS Quarterly, Administration and Society, and Social Science Computer Review. The UCI Academic Senate has honored him with two of its highest awards: the Distinguished Faculty Lectureship for Teaching and the Distinguished Service Award.
